ANNA CANNITO
Soprano

ABOUT
Anna Cannito (22) is a coloratura soprano based in Nashville, Tennessee, known for her dazzling agility and dramatic flair. Originally from Las Vegas, where her musical roots were shaped by the city’s vibrant culture of performance, she developed a style that blends the virtuosic brilliance of bel canto with the expressive depth of Romantic repertoire. Her performances are lyrical, precise, and theatrically charged, often compared to singers who balance technical fireworks with delicate nuance like Sabine Devieilhe. She has performed leading and supporting roles with the Belmont Opera Theater, including Olympia in John Davies’ Pinocchio, and earned recognition abroad with the Orfeo Prize at the Orfeo International Music Competition in Vipiteno, Italy. Currently, she is continuing her studies in Vocal Performance at Belmont University, preparing new operatic roles and expanding her repertoire for both stage and competition.
